On September 27, 2024, there were 2 side events held at the inaugural Jonas Neubauer Cup.The side events happened before the main tournament took place the following two days.
The first event was Mind Meld where each team consist of 2 players. One player controlled the Directional Pad (D-Pad), while the other player controlled the “A” and “B” button which rotates the pieces.
The second event was Tetris Relay where each team consist of 3-4 players. Each team shares one controller. After a player scores a Tetris, they pass the controller to the next teammate in line.
