The 2022 CTWC DAS Championship took place in at the Cineplex Fürth in Fürth, Germany. It took place from August 20-21.
This was the first ever CTWC DAS Championship.
In this tournament, players used the DAS play-style. With the DAS (Delayed Auto-Shift) playstyle, players move the pieces by holding down the Directional Pad (D-Pad).
Players were NOT allowed to use the hypertapping or rolling play-style.
In the Qualifying round, players were given 1 hour to play as many games as possible. The Multiple Maxout rule was used, where players were ranked by the amount of Maxouts achieved. Their highest non-maxout score (kicker) was used as a tiebreaker.
The Top 48 qualified for the tournament where Seeds 1-16 had a bye to Round 1, while Seeds 17-48 started in Round 0.
Round 0 was a Best of 3.
Round 1 through the Quarterfinals were a Best of 5.
The Semifinals and Finals were a Best of 7.
