2023 CTWC Desert Regional took place at Game On Expo in Phoenix, Arizona. It happened on August 12, 2023.
Winner won free entry into 2023 Classic Tetris World Championship.
After the Qualifying Rounds, players were seeded by the number of maxouts achieved, followed by their highest non-maxout score (kicker).
Seeds 1-12 (12 players) advanced to Gold Bracket
Seeds 13-24 (12 players) advanced to Silver Bracket
In the Gold Bracket, all matches were Best of 5
Seeds 1-4 had byes to the Quarterfinals
In the Silver Bracket, all matches were Best of 3 until Finals
Finals was Best of 5
Seeds 13-16 (Top 4 seeded players in the Silver Bracket) had byes to the Quarterfinals
All of the Gold Bracket matches were livestreamed.
The Semifinals and Finals of the Silver Bracket were livestreamed after Round 0 of the Gold Bracket.
