
2025 CTWC Space City Regional had a DAS tournament on the second day of the event. Where players use the DAS technique, which involved holding down the Directional Pad (D-Pad) to move the pieces.

Qualifying consisted of 90-minute sessions. Players could do their session either in-person or online. Full Qualifying rules can be viewed here.
Seeding ranks were determined by the “Classic Tetris Wars (CTW) format”, where every game awards a certain amount of qualifying points. The qualifying point system is different from the Open tournament.
- 0-599,999: 0 points
- 600,000-699,999: 1 point
- 700,000-799,999: 2 points
- 800,000-899,999: 3 points
- 900,000-999,999: 4 points
- 1,000,000-1,099,999: 6 points
- 1,100,000-1,199,999: 8 points
- 1,200,000-1,299,999: 10 points
- 1,300,000-1,399,999: 13 points
- 1,400,000-infinity: 1,000,000 points
The player’s highest score in the session is used as a tiebreaker.
15 players participated in the Qualifying round. They all advanced to the bracket.
The #1 seed had a bye to the Quarterfinals.
