About Us

At Tetris Interest we’ve got a mission: to help people enjoy the game of Tetris, whether they are playing it or watching it in a competitive tournament. In the end, we want you to be able to play Tetris with Interest.

By having a good understanding of the game, we hope that you will be able to impress your friends with your Tetris skills.

I’m Evan (I go by Wingfryer online) and I got interested in Tetris when I found the 2016 Finals of the Classic Tetris World Championship (CTWC) on YouTube.

I have since followed Jonas Neubauer, World Champion of Classic Tetris, on his Twitch channel. In 2019, viewers of Jonas’s stream told him that Tetris 99 just came out and he decided to download the game on the Nintendo Switch. I have learned how to play the game by watching Jonas win Tetris 99 multiple times.

A few weeks later, I went to my friend’s house where he had the game on his Switch. It was then that I played Tetris 99 for the first time. After that, I decided to download Tetris 99 to play at home. After playing over 1000 games, I finally got my first win.

I also play NES Tetris and hope to qualify for the CTWC. My Personal Best (PB) for NES Tetris is 620,140.
