The current reigning Tetris World Champion, Alex T, competed on a game show in Germany.
“Drei gegen Einen – Die Show der Champions”, which translates to “Three against One – The Show of Champions”, is a show where world champions, record holders, and talents compete against Tim Mälzer, Elton, and Knossi. Hosted by Laura Wontorra.
Each episode features 9 different challenges, such as Basketball, Peeling Potatoes, and Rope Skipping.
In Episode 4, which aired on March 29, 2025, Alex T competed against the trio (Tim Mälzer, Elton, and Knossi) in a Tetris challenge.
The challenge was a 100-line sprint, where the team that clears 100 lines in the fastest time wins.
Alex T was up first. He started on Level 19 and rolled his way through the 100 lines. This set the time that the trio needed to beat.
Afterwards, the trio played their individual game at the same time. Their objective was to clear a combined total of 100 lines within the set time limit. They all started on Level 5.
