2021 CTWC Singapore Regional took place online. It happened on July 31, 2021.
The winner won free entry into the 2021 Classic Tetris World Championship, which also took place online.
This tournament was open to players that resided in the Southeast Asia region at the time. Specifically, these following countries: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
If there were less than 16 players participating in the tournament, the Top 8 players would advance to the Playoffs.
If there were more than 16 players, there would be a Group Stage and a Playoff.
17 players participated in the tournament, which meant that the Top 16 advanced to the Group Stage.
In the Qualifying Round, players were given a 2-hour session. The average of their Top 3 highest score was used to determine the player’s qualifying rank.
The Top 16 players were split into Groups of 4. Each group was a Double-Elimination bracket. All matches were Best of 3. The Top 2 players in each group advanced to the Top 8 Knockout Rounds.
The Knockout Rounds were Single-Elimination, with all matches being Best of 5.
