2023 CTWC Heart of Texas Regional took place at ATG Expo in Waco, Texas. It happened on January 21, 2023.
Last year’s tournament was called Southern Regional. It has since been renamed to Heart of Texas Regional.
The winner won free entry into 2023 Classic Tetris World Championship.
After the qualifying rounds, players were ranked by number of maxouts achieved, followed by their highest non-maxout score (kicker).
Top 16 advanced to the Gold Bracket. While the other 8 players (everyone else) advanced to the Silver Bracket.

There was also a side event called 100-line sprint, which happened the following day.
