2024 CTWC Austria Regional took place at Respawn eSports Bar in Vienna, Austria. It happened on March 9, 2024.
Winner won free entry into 2024 Classic Tetris World Championship.
Qualifying happened online, where players had one hour of unlimited attempt to get the highest score before reaching Level 39. Any points scored on Level 39 and above did not count towards the qualifying score. Afterwards, the player’s average of their Top 2 scores were used to determine their qualifying rank.
Seeding Ranks were determined using a simplified Morelando Method, where the player’s qualifying rank and relative Elo rank were added together to determine their seeding rank.
Organizers opened up to 40 spots in the bracket to allow for potentially everyone to participate in the bracket.
There were 20 players, so they all advanced to the bracket.
Seeds 1-12 had byes to Round 1
Seeds 13-16 started in Round 0
