The 2022 Dr. Mario Championship (DrMC) was the 6th Annual tournament. It continued to be held at the TORG Gaming Expo in Columbus, Ohio.
Many players from the previous year had returned, such as Defending Champion Packie. There were also new players joining such as Sara Sparkle and Swong.
The format for the tournament was the same as the previous year. In Qualifying, players joined Pools of up to 8 people.
32 players advanced to the Playoffs where all matches were a Best of 5.
